How are we going to refine and empower mankind..???

“One of the basic rules of the universe is that nothing is perfect, without imperfection neither you nor I would exist”- Stephen Hawking. Yes, no one is perfect in his action all times. Everyone make mistakes. At times even great people make wrong choices. It doesn’t mean they are bad, it means they are humans. Human life is like an ECG. If there are no ups and downs in ECG the man is said to be dead. Always one cannot expect only good things to happen.

In our literatures it is mentioned that the water fowl swan separates milk from water. This character of swan should be adopted by the humans. Everything around us has pros and cons. Clever people will make the best out of the good.

The famed inventor and business tycoon Thomas Alva Edison invented a lot of things. One of his greatest inventions is the bulb which literally lightened our life. Though his life was full of achievements and credits,this noble man had some bad stuff too.

"The Battle of currents!"

Edison's DC current or Tesla's AC current..??

This debate around Edison exposed his other face. In fear of losing the credits he earned from his DC patents,Edison started discrediting Tesla’s AC. He stated that the alternating current was "impractical" and conducted wrong experiments publicly on animals to prove his invention. Topsy, an elephant passed away when she was electrocuted with AC by Edison to trick people claiming that AC is not safer.But we often praise Edison and not Tesla!

Adolf Hitler, this man is recognized as the notorious dictator of man kind. He killed almost 40,000,000 people in world war II and in the holocaust.He tortured millions of people in the concentration camps.

This cruel man also had little kindness in his heart and established Volkswagen "people’s car" in Germany. He was a teetotaler, a non smoker and a vegetarian too. He had exceptional orating skills and was very loyal to his people. With his consistency and confidence he fulfilled every promise to his country men and gave his unconditional love to them.

These two men are of two extremes.

The Evil Genius Edison, greatest of all with few wrong qualities.
The Noble Tyrant Hitler, notorious of all with fine qualities.

Just say no to all bad qualities and gain from the good ones. In the current scenario, life of youth cannot be imagined without Facebook,Whatsapp,Instagram etc. These social networking platforms are receiving very good response from it’s users but we being blind are killing our precious time.

Over-use of anything is always a mis-use.

A remainder about the missions of the social media which we feel as our life.

WhatsApp An alternative to SMS with advanced stuffs and to let people communicate everywhere in the world without barrier.
Facebook To give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
Instagram To bring you closer to the people and things you love.

On summing up the main motto of these applications is to connect people and share good stuff to the world.Instead of wasting time in these screen based activities, utilize its positive aspects to showcase our talents and ideas. Since these social networks have a very good reach nowadays, much awareness can be created. They can be used for educational communication between the teachers and students, increasing the voters participation, disseminating the breaking news fast, finding job opportunities,marketing useful products etc.

As said earlier, they have both good and bad sides. Like a double edged sword this leads to both favorable and unfavorable consequences.

Is this the dream of Dr.Kalam about the youth in 2020 ??? How long we are going to be a developing country?? India will be the youngest country with 64% of its population falling under the working category(between the age of 22 and 58) by next year.
