I feel teaching is one of the toughest as well as an emotional job in this contemporary world.

Yes, this may seem to be insane especially to students .

But as a teacher they deal with multi complex emotions than any other jobs in a day.

They play the role of

A Guide

A Mentor

A Father

A Mother

A Friend

They are portrayed and respected more than God next to parents .

"Matha Pitha Guru Dheivam "

Because parents 'll guide only their own children or their relatives' .

But teachers are the one who guides a society of unrelative youngsters.

When they step in as a teacher they changed their profession into a passion and moulds almost thousands and lakhs of children in his/her lifetime.

It was Subramanian, a teacher who moulded the legend Dr.A P J.Abdul Kalam,the missile man who in turn respected the profession and moulded millions of young minds.He had always seen himself as a teacher before seeing him as a scientist or an honorable president .This made him to sacrifice his marital life for the enlightenment of young minds.

Palam Kalyanasundharam, the man who is crowned as MAN OF THE MILLENNIUM for donating all his pension along with an amount of 30 lakhs, his entire 35 years of professional earning for the betterment of orphanage kids is also a teacher by profession.When he was crowned as "Man of the Millennium" he won a reward of 6.5 million dollar that is approximately 46.75 crores in rupees.

This kind selfless heart donated the whole reward to the needy without even having a penny for himself.

These two examples above clearly shows the importance given by a teacher for the life of children and to the society more than their own personal life.

Teachers are more like a ladders,they help us to reach heights by remaining in the same place and get itself ready for next ladder man to clinch his height.

We may think we are good only because for our hard work.

It's true but the hidden fact is not exposed.

If one thinks his/her core values like hard work, dedication, patience fetches success,

Then,

Why do the world's best cricket team need coaches?

Why do the world's best athlete need personal coaches?

Why do the best bodybuilder need a personal trainer?

It's because we young fellows can gain any qualities like hard work , dedication etc. But we can't earn the experience they have and the guidance they give us.

This is given by a coach or trainer who is also a teacher in their own field.

There won't be an Alexander The Great without Aristotle

There won't be an Aristotle without Plato

There won't be a Plato without Socrates

Legends are not born,

They are made by mentors(Teacher)

With parents, teachers also share their contribution.

A bunch of small sacrifice of these selfless souls integrates into a humongous success.

Our teacher's contribution is in every win of our life.They have directly or indirectly moulded our life beautifully.

DIFFICULTIES OF BEING A TEACHER

A study tells that,

10 hours limb work = 1 hour speech

So as a teacher they are spending limitless energy. Because of prolonged standing during teaching many of the teachers experience varicose in their legs.

As a teacher they too have a Brutus in their senate called the chalk .

They have to deal with this chalk powder for their life time which consequently causes respiratory problems like asthma for many.

More importantly teachers should always play a hidden game by keeping their personal and health problems aside and enrich the young minds.

A parent can make a child good by character

But a teacher can make a society of children

Good by character

Great by education

Unbeatable by experience and guidance .

When was the last time we recognized our teacher??  Do we remember them atleast?? The funny part is all the above noble people and we are from the same homeland and may be from the same state and same town.
